Update about some other features of the project: 3D scanning of the car.
As the stripping of the car proceeds, it is simultaneously scanned to computer in 3D. Setup used is as simple as Kinect Sensor for xbox 360 connected to laptop running program called ReconstructMe. Presets at the moment are such that it is possible to scan two cubic meters per scan but it might be too big volume for the current laptop to handle appropriately. 3D scanning is done to get a measurments of the cars chassis in to a 3d modelling programs such as Solidworks or equivalent open source software (Feel free to suggest).

Our project has now been officially launched
The project started by finding out how to weight the car without spending thousands of euros for scales made just for that purpose. It was found that eight analogic bathroom scales served the purpose nicely. Two scales per tire with an iron u-bar across them, nicely. Scale's range was 130kg and they were adjusted to -20 so per tire two scales equals: 300kg. Nice. Initial weigths were taken in technical inspection station and the weights taken at site didn't differ more than few percent.
When car was set on scales and first readings carefully documented it was time to start taking parts out of the car. Nice! First battery, starter motor, charger, carburator, exhaust pipe, fuel tank and radiator, then readings. Then engine was taken out and readings again.
